NEW CONSTRUCTION ROOFING

Engineered Before Groundbreak. Warranted for the Life of the Structure.

The right roofing system starts with the right specification — before a single roll of membrane ships to the jobsite.

System Selection · Material Procurement · Certified Installation · Warranty Registration

Overview

Commercial new construction roofing is not a commodity. The system you specify — and the contractor who installs it — determines whether you carry a 20-year NDL warranty or a 5-year repair cycle. At Evangel, we engage at the pre-construction phase: reviewing structural drawings, coordinating with the general contractor, and selecting the membrane and attachment method that matches your building's use, climate exposure, and long-term performance expectations. We work with product lines from Carlisle, Versico, Johns Manville, and GAF — systems with a decades-long track record in commercial construction.

Our Process

1

Pre-Construction Consultation

We review your building plans, structural load capacity, anticipated rooftop equipment, and operational use to select the optimal system before materials are ordered. Getting this right before groundbreak eliminates costly change orders and warranty conflicts at closeout.

2

System Specification & Procurement

We source certified materials from approved manufacturers — matched to your project's performance requirements and warranty tier. Material submittals are provided for GC and architect review. No substitutions without written approval.

3

Deck Preparation & Insulation

A properly prepared substrate is the foundation of a 20-year roof. We inspect deck fastener patterns, install tapered insulation for positive drainage, and address substrate irregularities before membrane goes down. Tapered insulation is detailed to code-required minimum slope.

4

Membrane Application

Single-ply membranes are installed via the manufacturer-approved attachment method for your deck type: mechanically fastened, fully adhered, or induction-welded. Each method has specific pull-out requirements; we test and document to manufacturer spec.

5

Penetrations, Flashing & Drainage

HVAC curbs, pipe penetrations, parapet walls, and scuppers represent the highest-risk areas on any commercial roof. Every penetration is flashed per manufacturer detail — photographed and documented for the warranty file.

6

Quality Inspection & Warranty Registration

Final walkthrough with photographic documentation of all seams, flashings, and penetrations. Manufacturer warranty registered at job closeout. Complete project documentation package delivered to the owner — ready for future buyers, lenders, and insurance carriers.
